Built the Program I Wish Existed 5 Years Ago

By Lara Guevara | Founder, Move Supply Chain

Hey there,

I'm just going to say it: I'm nervous as hell sending this email.

The MOVE Supply Chain Accelerator is officially live. And after months of building this thing in the margins of my life, early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays,  when I probably should have been resting, it's out there. In the world. For people to actually see.

And honestly? That's terrifying.

Because this isn't just a course. This is 17 years of my life, packaged up and put on the internet for strangers to judge. Every lesson I learned the hard way. Every framework I built through trial and error. Every "I wish someone had told me this sooner" moment.

It's all in there. And now it's... live.

Deep breath.

Let me back up and tell you why this exists.

Seven years ago, I made the jump from enterprise supply chain to DTC. I'd spent over a decade managing $100M+ operations, optimizing systems that had entire teams and budgets behind them. I thought I knew everything.

I had spreadsheets for my spreadsheets. I could forecast demand six months out. I knew how to negotiate with vendors who had way more leverage than me. I was good at this.

Then I started working with DTC founders.

And I realized: nobody had taught them any of this. Not a single piece of it.

These were smart people. Brilliant, actually. They'd built products people loved, figured out marketing that actually converted, found their audience in a sea of noise. They were doing the impossible every single day.

But when it comes to the supply chain? They were flying blind. Making decisions based on gut feel and crossed fingers because that's all they had.

I'll never forget one of my first DTC clients.

She was doing about $2M a year. Great product. Loyal customers. Marketing was humming. From the outside, everything looked perfect.

But when I dug into her numbers, I found $80,000 tied up in inventory she didn't need yet. Eighty thousand dollars. Just sitting in a warehouse, doing nothing, while she was stressed about making payroll.

She wasn't bad at her job. She was incredible at her job. But nobody had ever shown her how to calculate reorder points. Nobody had explained that ordering "just in case" was slowly strangling her cash flow.

When I showed her the math, when I explained that she could free up that cash and still never stock out, she literally cried on our Zoom call.

That moment broke something open in me.

Because here's what I realized: this wasn't a one-off situation.

I watched founders tie up tens of thousands in inventory they didn't need yet because they were terrified of running out.

I watched them stock out on Black Friday, their biggest sales day of the year, because their reorder math was based on vibes instead of data.

I watched them get crushed by freight costs they didn't know they could negotiate. Vendor terms they accepted because they didn't realize they had leverage. MOQs that made no sense for their actual sales velocity.

And every single time, the story was the same: this isn't their fault. Nobody ever showed them how this works.

The information existed, but it was buried in enterprise textbooks, corporate training programs, and consulting engagements that cost more than most DTC founders make in a quarter.

There was nothing for them. Nothing that spoke their language, understood their constraints, and gave them something they could actually use.

So I started showing them. One client at a time.

One Zoom call at a time. One "wait, I can actually negotiate that?" moment at a time. One "oh my god, THAT'S why my cash flow is a mess" breakthrough at a time.

And it worked. It really, really worked.

Brands started saving money they didn't know they were losing. Margins improved without cutting corners. Founders stopped dreading inventory decisions and started making them with confidence.

I watched a founder renegotiate her freight contract and save $40K in a single year. I watched another one cut his safety stock in half and free up cash that funded his next product launch. I watched brands go from "supply chain is my nightmare" to "supply chain is my competitive advantage."

Those moments? That's why I do this work.

But here's the thing about one-on-one consulting: it doesn't scale.

The founders who needed this most—the ones doing $500K, $1M, $2M, grinding every day to get to the next level, couldn't afford what I was charging. And I couldn't afford to work for free.

I kept thinking: there has to be a way to get this information to more people.

So I built it.

I took everything, every framework, every template, every decision tree, every "here's exactly what to do" checklist—and I turned it into a program.

The MOVE Supply Chain Accelerator.

Eleven complete modules covering the full DTC supply chain:

  • Demand forecasting that actually works for brands without a data science team

  • Inventory planning that frees up cash without risking stockouts

  • Vendor negotiation strategies (yes, you have more leverage than you think)

  • The 10 key reports that tell you what's really happening in your business

  • How to get marketing, supply chain, and finance talking to each other (finally)

This isn't a theory. This isn't "here are some concepts, good luck figuring out how to apply them."

This is the exact system I use with private clients. The same frameworks. The same templates. The same step-by-step guidance.

I'm not going to lie, putting a price on this was one of the hardest things I've done.

I kept second-guessing myself. Is it too much? Is it not enough? Will anyone actually buy this? Who am I to charge money for this?

The imposter syndrome was LOUD.

But then I thought about that founder who was very frustrated on our Zoom call. I thought about the $80K she freed up. I thought about all the founders still out there, making the same mistakes, bleeding margin they don't know they're losing.

And I realized: keeping this information locked up in expensive consulting isn't helping anyone.

So here's what I landed on:

Self-Paced: $500
All 11 modules. Every template. Lifetime access to the community where you can ask questions, share wins, and learn alongside other founders who get it.

Cohort: $3,000
Everything is self-paced, plus 12 weeks of live calls with me and other experts and direct Slack access. This is for founders who want hands-on guidance as they implement—real-time feedback, hot seats, and someone in your corner when you hit a wall.

Early bird pricing runs through Sunday. First 15 people get an extra $100-$200 off.

I want to be real with you about something.

I don't know if this will work. I don't know if anyone will sign up. I've never launched something like this before, and the internet is full of courses that over-promise and under-deliver.

I know there's skepticism out there. I know you've probably been burned before by programs that sounded great and delivered nothing. I get it.

What I can tell you is this: I put everything I have into this. Seventeen years of experience. Every hard lesson. Every mistake I made so you don't have to. Every framework I've refined through hundreds of client conversations.

This is the program I wish existed when I made the jump from enterprise to DTC. The one that would have saved me years of figuring things out the hard way.

If you're a DTC founder who's ever felt like the supply chain is this mysterious black box that's somehow always working against you—this is for you.

If you've ever looked at your inventory and thought "I have no idea if this is right"—this is for you.

If you've ever had a stockout that tanked your momentum, or tied up cash in product that's just sitting there—this is for you.

If you're tired of feeling like marketing, supply chain, and finance are three different planets that never talk to each other—this is for you.

If you're ready to stop guessing and start knowing—this is for you.

🛠 One thing you can do right now (even if you're not ready to join)

I built a free Profit Leak Diagnostic that'll show you where your supply chain might be costing you money.

It's the same set of questions I ask every new client. Takes about five minutes. And it'll give you clarity on where your biggest opportunities are hiding.

No email gate. No sales pitch at the end. Just honest insight into your business.

Because even if the Accelerator isn't right for you right now, I still want you to walk away from this email with something useful. That's always been my goal—making supply chain less mysterious for the founders who are building something real.

Okay. Deep breath.

It's out there now. The thing I've been building in the quiet hours is officially in the world.

Whatever happens next—whether this is a huge success or a spectacular learning experience—I'm proud of what I built. And I'm grateful you're here, reading this, being part of this weird little journey.

Thank you for that. Seriously. It means more than you know.

Here's to building something that matters.

Until next time,

— Lara

P.S. If you have questions about the program—any questions at all—just reply to this email. I read everything. And right now, while I'm sitting here refreshing my inbox like a crazy person and stress-eating chocolate, I'll probably reply faster than usual. 😅

P.P.S. If you know another DTC founder who's struggling with supply chain, would you forward this to them? Not for me—for them. Because if they're anything like the founders I work with, they're probably losing money they don't know they're losing. And maybe this is the thing that changes that for them.
